Lucio Vilar Rabelo Filho PhD

Lucio Vilar holds a Master's degree in Tropical Medicine from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) (1989) and a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Brasília (2007). Currently Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Discipline of Endocrinology at UFPE. At the UFPE Hospital das Clinics, he is the Head of the Endocrinology Department and Coordinator of the outpatient clinics: (1) Neuroendocrinology and Adrenal Diseases and (2) Diabetes Mellitus. From June 1993 to March 1994 he held a fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Radcliffe Infirmary Hospital (Oxford University, England).
