Lucien Contreras MD

Dr. Lucien Rola Chassin Trubert Contreras, MD is a Vascular Surgery Staff at the University of the Andes Clinic. He also works as a Vascular Surgeon at the Dra. Eloisa Diaz La Florida Clinical Hospital. He is a member of distinguished scientific societies, as well as an active speaker at national and international conferences.

Dr. Lucien Chassin-Trubert specialized as a General Surgeon at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile graduating in 2014. He then completed the subspecialty of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the same university, obtaining the title of Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon on the year 2016. After completing his studies in Chile, he traveled to France in 2017 to start the Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Montpellier, with which he obtained the title of Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon awarded by the College Francais de Chirurgie Vasculaire et Endovascular when graduating the year 2019.

His areas of greatest surgical interest are carotid disease, extremity revascularization, and aortic surgery, particularly in the treatment of complex thoracic or abdominal dissections and aneurysms.
