Luciano joined B&P Avvocati as a Partner in 1998. Before entering the practice, he had worked as a State judge from 1984 to 1997. He is also Affiliated Professor of International Environmental Law at the University of Padua. Luciano was recently invited by the University of Cambridge as a Visiting Scholar (October 2016 – May 2017). He conducted there two research projects. The first one analyzed the Contaminated Land Regimes of the European Member States. The second one was about the ethical and legal challenges posed by the driverless technology (autonomous vehicles). At the firm he assists clients in litigation before the Italian Court of Cassation and other Higher Courts and through out-of-court advice.

Luciano has written books and articles on Italian, European and International Environmental Law. He is also regularly involved in academic research projects and training courses held in Italy and abroad. He was ranked as a leading individual (Band 1) in the field of Environmental Law by the 2014 Top Legal Report dedicated to the Triveneto area and is a ‘Recommended Attorney’ by Global Law Experts. He is a Member of the Italian Bar Association - Verona.
