Lucia Rita Valmaggia MSc, PhD

Dr. Lucia Valmaggia works as Reader in Clinical Psychology and Digital Mental Health at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London where she leads the Virtual Reality Lab, and she is a Hon. Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. In her career to date, she has conducted research, which is clinically relevant and directly applicable to the delivery of clinical services. Her work has focused on the prevention and early detection of mental health problems, in particular, psychosis. Lucia is President-Elect of the IEPA-Early Intervention in Mental Health Association.
