Lucia Catani PhD

Lucia Catani is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna since 1999, she carries out her research in the field of Blood Diseases. His research interests are focused on the study of leukemic stem cells and the inflammatory microenvironment. Currently, the research activity is focused on the role of circulating extracellular vesicles in the inflammatory network of blood cancers. Author of peer-reviewed publications on malignant hematopoiesis and acquired disorders of thrombopoiesis. Involved in research projects with national and international collaborations.
