Luchuo Engelbert Bain is a public health (Global Health) professional and Bioethicist (Clinical and Research Ethics), with special interests in Clinical (Trials) Research, Sexual and Reproductive health, Health systems strengthening for low and medium-income countries, infectious disease control, human resources for health management, and monitoring and evaluation of public health interventions. He is an advocate for the materialization of the health rights agenda as a fundamental human right, and the utilization of innovative, evidence-based, cost-effective, and sustainable initiatives in rendering health systems in the global south more resilient and responsive to their context-specific challenges. He is particularly interested and fully engaged in pushing forward the "science made open access" agenda.
