Dr. Luca Saragoni, the Physician of the Pathological Anatomy of Forlì, obtains the National Scientific Qualification to cover the functions of Professor of Band II in the competitive sector of Medicine, Pathological Anatomy Discipline. The judgments of the National Commission that awarded him this qualification were extremely positive.

Dr. Luca Saragoni, formerly on the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy for the three-year period 2020-2022, Regional Secretary for Emilia Romagna of the Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Biology of the University of Philadelphia (USA) and Adjunct Professor at the School of Specialization of Pathological Anatomy of the University of Bologna, he is the author of over 150 scientific publications, speaker at over 200 national and international conferences, co-founder of the Italian Gastric Cancer Research Group (GIRCG) and is was Coordinator of the Study Group of Pathology of the Digestive System within the Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy.

Last year, the Paleopathology Association, the most important international association of paleopathology, which brings together about two thousand scholars from all countries, had chosen the mercurial city, thanks to its paleopathological research, for the fifth "National Meeting of the Italian Group of Paleopathology ", organized by Dr. Mirko Traversari and, in fact, by prof. Luca Saragoni underlines how "Forlì should be considered in the network with other national research centers in Paleopathology and this will be a further opportunity for the development of this territory"
