Luca Persani MD

Dr. Persani is Associate Professor of Endocrinology at the Department of Clinical Sciences &Community Health (DISCCO) of the University of Milan, and is the Director of the Division for Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases and of the Laboratory for Endocrine and Metabolic Research of Istituto Auxologico Italiano (a nonprofit Institution for Research and Cure, partially supported by the Italian Ministry of Health). He was the recipient of the “PierGiorgio Chiodini Award” of the Italian Society of NeuroSciernce in 1999 for the studies on Thyrotropin Biology.

Dr Persani is member of the Editorial Board of several international Endocrine Journals. He is member of several International Scientific Societies, including Endocrine Society, European Society of Endocrinology, European Thyroid Association, Italian Society of Endocrinology, Italian Thyroid Association and Italian Society of Androloguy and Sexual Medicine. He has served as member of the Executive Committee and Coordinator of the Scientific Commission of the Italian Society of Endocrinology
