Dr. Pani joined the University of Miami Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in 2017 as a Professor of Psychiatry. In his role at UM, part of Dr. Pani’s work will include designing and teaching interdisciplinary educational curriculum in clinical psychiatry, psychopharmacology, regulatory science, health policy and innovation; exploring the potential for implementing a clinical trials center for clinical neurosciences and other therapeutic areas; and assist with the medical supply chain product selection and pricing.
Dr. Pani is the author of over 160 scientific publications, editor and author of several volumes among which the highly downloaded Sustainable Innovation: Medicines and the Challenges for the Future of our National Health Service (English version free here and also a writer of successful leisure literature. He has attended over 1,000 conferences, seminars, workshops and national and international roundtables as an invited speaker.
