Louise Campbell is the founder and Medical Director of Tawazun Health the only independent FibroScan service in the UK. An experienced award-winning Nurse in Hepatology (nurse of the year 2018) and FibroScan service development. With a demonstrated history of working and delivering high-quality services in the hospital, the health care industry, and clinical trials. A strong and passionate advocate for patients to be heard and considered in their health pathways. Louise is also a regular guest panel member on the podcast Surfing the NASH Tsunami - brining the patients to the discussion and a look at how the clinical trials industry has been affected by COVID-19 and so much more, The patient-friendly early assessment of liver health and as such locating some of the early risks of developing T2DM, CVD, and other related cardiometabolic conditions and has been made possible with the development of FibroScan, allowing immediate assessment and interventions which can favorably alter a persons life pathway.

Currently, access to FibroScan is limited to complicated health referral pathways for many making it expensive to the NHS and only for those few who are actually located. Tawazun Health is the first independent provider in the UK, able to deliver direct access to a FibroScan for Physicians or individuals to access their own liver health, bringing early detection to the areas it is needed the undiagnosed! NAFLD / NASH now affect 1 in 4 of the global population, Liver health assessments are a growing requirement in many disease areas - Liver, cardiovascular, diabetes, hypertension, cardiometabolic syndrome, Gynaecology (POS), and rheumatology. Louise is passionate about getting people to access diagnostics which can assist in the location of damage and the risks of developing T2DM, CVD where individuals can have the opportunity to lead healthier longer lives. Never has a mother or father who sees their child's fatty liver not made a change that improved the whole family's health.
