Louis J. Decaro DPM, FACFAP

Louis J. DeCaro. was a Podiatric Physician who specializes in pediatrics with a special interest in sports medicine and biomechanics for both adults and pediatrics. On July 25th, 2014 DeCaro was installed as President of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics (ACFAP). DeCaro is honored and humbled to hold such a prestigious position within such a great profession.

DeCaro received the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1999 from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL. DeCaro then underwent extensive multi-year surgical training in the Worcester area at the UMASS and St. Vincent Hospitals with special emphasis on pediatrics.

DeCaro is currently in private practice in West Hatfield. DeCaro is a member of the surgical & medical staff at Franklin Medical Center as well as Holyoke Medical Center.

DeCaro the Director and originator of the Adult & Pediatric Gait Labs Biomechanics Clinic, which takes place biweekly at DeCaro West Hatfield office. DeCaro also directs a weekly Lower Extremity Podo-Orthopedic clinic at DeCaro West Hatfield office. In 2004 DeCaro originated this clinic as well to better serve special needs children with podopediatric concerns. DeCaro routinely works alongside a Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist and/or early intervention therapist and Orthotist.
