Louis D. Filhour PhD, RN

Dr. Filhour currently conducts nursing research in his role as an Assistant Professor for Albany Medical College in addition to serving as a Senior Vice President for Albany Medical Center and Chief Executive Officer for Better Health for Northeast New York, Inc. Albany Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center serving 25 counties in upstate New York and thus is a rich source for his trauma-related research. He holds a Bachelor in Nursing from Baylor University, a Master in Nursing as a Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist from Boston College, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
