Lorie Towe

Lorie Towe was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a bachelors degree in biology in 1996. In 2000, she received her juris doctorate from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law and thereafter was admitted to the Missouri Bar. Lorie worked for the Missouri Senate within the Division of Research for three legislative sessions. During that time, she staffed the Aging, Families, Mental and Public Health Committee and worked extensively on issues involving long-term care. For the 2005 and 2006 legislative sessions, Lorie worked for Senator Luann Ridgeway as her Legislative Analyst. Since June of 2006, Lorie has been employed with Missouri Health Care Association as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Policy. She is primarily responsible for reviewing and interpreting regulatory matters, at both the national and state level, which impacts the long-term care industry.
