Long Lai PhD

Dr. Long Li Lai Obtained His Ph. D. degree in 1992 from the Department of Chemistry, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa under the supervision of D. H. Reid. After that, he did his postdoctoral study at the Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica from 1992 to 1996, and then worked as a researcher at Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) from 1996-1998. He then moved to the Department of Applied Chemistry, at National Chi Nan University as an assistant professor. In 2003, he was promoted to Professor. His current research focuses on the fields of triazine-based dendrimers or dendrons with porous or mesogenic properties.
