Drs. Hendriks has been working as a pulmonologist at the MUMC since 2012. Her focus area is lung cancer and is conducting PhD research into brain metastases in lung cancer. In addition to oncology clinics and research, she participates in the general lung clinic, treatment room, and clinical supervision of physician assistants. She is a member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), the Dutch Association of Physicians for Pulmonary Diseases and Tuberculosis (NVALT), the European Respiratory Society (ERS), and the Netherlands Respiratory Society (NRS).
Drs. Hendriks (1981) studied Medicine at Maastricht University. After graduating in 2005, she worked as a lung disease physician assistant at the Orbis Concern in Sittard and the Atrium Medical Center in Heerlen. From 2006 to 2012 she also trained as a pulmonologist here. After completing her training, she was appointed as a pulmonologist at the MUMC.
