Lize Cuypers PharmD, PhD

Lize Cuypers is a postdoctoral researcher at the Rega Institute of Medical Research, KU Leuven. After four years of clinical and epidemiological research, She obtained her PhD in Biomedical Sciences and continued working in the same field as her hunger for science was not curbed yet. Throughout the years, she has become an independent researcher who loves to dig into scientific problems and highly values the power of teamwork to tackle all issues that cross your path. She has been involved in numerous projects, both on national and international levels, providing me the opportunity to expand her network and communication skills, as well as to engage in different aspects of project management. Moving abroad for 8 months to Oxford allowed me to broaden both her professional and personal horizons and triggered her interest in multidisciplinary research. Guiding and supporting students made me a better senior scientist who is now looking for a new challenge in the field of medical research related to policy-making and patient care.
