Liz Sampson MB BCh, MRCPsych, MD, MSc

Liz Sampson is a Reader in the Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Department, Division of Psychiatry, University College London. Her research focus is on liaison psychiatry for older people (epidemiology and outcomes for older people with dementia and delirium in acute hospitals) and palliative and end of life care in dementia (epidemiological and health services research).

She trained at Birmingham University, has an MSc (Epidemiology) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an MD from the Institute of Neurology. Liz works clinically as Lead Consultant for older people’s liaison psychiatry at North Middlesex University Hospital.
