Lisa Wenger PhD

Lisa M. Wenger is experienced in strategic planning and execution, research design, qualitative and quantitative analyses, theory development, grant writing, editing, clear communication (academic and community-focused), community-university partnerships, KTE, resource development, project management, program evaluation, and more. She is passionate about enriching understanding and enhancing processes to enable health systems that are prepared to support a diversity of individuals and complex needs. She obtained her BA and MA from the University of Waterloo and her Ph.D. from the University of Guelph. She completed a CIHR-funded postdoctoral fellowship in psychosocial oncology at the University of British Columbia and now works as an Independent Researcher. Areas of specialization include gender, culture, enhanced health services (including cancer care), diversity & inclusion, and community-engaged research.
