Lisa Weed Phifer, DEd, NCSP, CBT-CA, ASCDS, CYMHS is a trauma-informed social-emotional learning (SEL) specialist for Fairfax County Public Schools. She also has several creative publications including the CBT Toolbox for Young Adults, CBT Toolbox for Children and Adolescents, Trauma-Informed Social Emotional Toolbox, and the Parenting Toolbox. My newest publication CBT for Young Adults will be available May 6th and hopes to be a supportive resource to build independence.
Lisa Weed Phifer is a nationally certified school psychologist who holds additional certifications in CBT, Autism, and Youth Mental Health. Phifer’s work integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and core social-emotional competencies into practical, child-focused activities. Her most rewarding role is with my family, husband Jeffrey, daughter Genevieve, and double doodles, Midas & Hobart.
