Dr. Lisa Rapoport attended the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with a degree in English/American Studies. For her medical training, she went to UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program, where she received an MS degree in Health and Human Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned her MD from the University of California, San Francisco (2005). She completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago where she was the chief resident for the University of Chicago Aeromedical Network (UCAN). Her critical care fellowship was done at Stanford University and she started Kaiser Permanente in 2010. She has a Master of Science from UC Berkeley (Health and Human Sciences from the School of Public Health). She is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
