Dr. Lisa Germain, DDS, MScD, DC has been a dentist for more than 35 years. After completing her DDS degree from the University of Maryland, she graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, Boston University with a master’s of science degree and specialty certificate in endodontics. In 1985, she achieved Diplomate status and became board certified in her specialty. Due to her desire for a more comprehensive knowledge of dentistry, she completed an extensive hands on course at the Engel Implant Institute and then enrolled in a fellowship program at the Misch Institute to study both implantology and restorative/prosthetic dentistry. She was awarded a Fellowship from the Misch Implant Institute in 2009 and became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists the same year. 

Dr. Germain’s unique combination of skills and experience makes her a prominent expert in the differential diagnosis and treatment of odontogenic and nonodontogenic facial pain, dental materials, the endodontic/implant continuum, and treatment planning. Dr. Germain lectures around the world at dental meetings and in university settings on a variety of dental topics, is a member of numerous dental organizations, and is a contributing author for Dentistry Today as well as other dental publications. Dr. Germain is in private practice in New Orleans and was recently chosen to serve as the clinical director at DC Dental, where she hopes to bring other practitioners the most cutting-edge information and education available in the field of dentistry.
