Lisa Dos Santos, MD, joined Northwell Health in 2011 as an assistant gynecologic oncologist, but has been connected to the health system in some way since childhood; in fact, he was born at Huntington Hospital.
After graduating with a medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by a residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Dos Santos completed her gynecologic oncology training on a four-year fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Cancer Center. She particularly appreciates the complexity of the surgery and the opportunity to provide long-term care to patients.
Dr. Dos Santos specializes in minimally invasive surgeries and is considered an expert in robotic procedures. He has a particular interest in the fertility preservation treatment of gynecologic cancers, as well as the management of precancerous conditions in young women for cancer prevention and fertility preservation.
