Dr. Lisa Cillessen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in Ambulatory Care and Academia at Northeastern University and Harbor Health in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Cillessen practices as an ambulatory care pharmacist at Jordan Valley Community Health Center, providing chronic disease management services to the uninsured and underinsured. She serves as the coadvisor for American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), Rho Chi Honor Society, and Public Health Organization. Dr. Cillessen’s research interests include public and global health, chronic disease management in the underserved, and layered learning.
