Lisa Allen MD, FRCS(C)

Dr. Lisa Allen joined the Section of Pediatric Gynecology in 1998 after completing a fellowship at Women’s College Hospital in pelvic floor surgery and advanced minimally invasive surgery. Allen received her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Toronto. She is currently the Head of the Section of Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology, SickKids, Staff in Gynecology, Mt. Sinai Hospital and Staff in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women’s College Hospital. She is a Professor at the University of Toronto.

Allen conducts clinical research in a variety of areas in pediatric and adolescent gynecology including ovarian pathology, Mullerian anomalies, disorders of sex development and sexually transmitted infections. She also has published on alternative options for education in pediatric gynecology.
