Dr. Linn K. Kuehl studied psychology at the University of Trier, where she then did her doctorate at the Institute for Psychobiology in the DFG-funded International Research Training Group (IRTG) on the topic "Effects of stress mechanisms on pain processing". For her Ph.D., she worked on collaborative projects with the University of Luxembourg and the University of Leiden, Netherlands. She then worked as a research assistant (postdoc) in the clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and at the chair for medical sociology and psychobiology at the University of Potsdam. From 2013-2018 she headed the DFG project "Influence of increased noradrenergic activity by yohimbine on learning and attention in major depression" (KU 3106/1-2; "Own body") at the Charité. Her research work has received several scientific awards. In addition, Prof. Dr. Kühl since 2017 licensed psychological psychotherapist for behavioral therapy. Since 2021 she has been a professor of clinical psychology and psychotherapy with a focus on behavioral therapy at the MSB Medical School Berlin, where she works in research and teaching.
