Linda Jordan has over 30 years of experience in clinical and administrative healthcare leadership. She held senior leadership positions in hospitals, ambulatory care organizations, and federally qualified health centers. Her clinical background includes pediatrics, medical-surgical, urgent care, school based healthcare and ambulatory clinics. Prior to joining the Joint Commission, Linda served as Vice President of Ambulatory Services at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan. She provided oversight for the provision of care for 18 divisions of hospital based and outpatient pediatric subspecialties. Linda has served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer for Federally Qualified Health Centers in Michigan and Louisiana. In 2005 and 2006 Linda served on a post Katrina task force to restore medical services and develop organization wide and community wide plans for emergency preparedness. Sharing responsibilities for accreditation and compliance, Linda has led multiple organizations through successful Joint Commission surveys.
Linda is a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing, American College of Healthcare Executives, Midwest Healthcare Executive Group, and Beta Gamma Sigma. Linda Jordan received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois and her Master of Arts in Healthcare Management from University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. Linda is a Joint Commission Surveyor, and surveys the standards in the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual/Accreditation Manual for Ambulatory Care and Office Based Surgery Practices.
