Lily Mushahar MD, MMED

Dr. Lily Mushahar, MD, MMED is the Head and Consultant Nephrologist of the Department of Nephrology, Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. She is also the Head of Clinical Research Centre Negeri Sembilan. Dr. Lily received her medical undergraduate end post-graduate degree at University Science Malaysia and received Nephrology fellowship training at the University of North Staffordshire Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. She is the secretary of the Malaysian Society of Nephrology and council member of the Malaysian Society of Diagnostic Interventional Nephrology and Post Graduate Renal Society of Malaysia. She is also the committee member of the International Society (ISPD) Scholarship & Award committee.

Dr.Lily’s main interest is in Peritoneal Dialysis. She is active in developing the PD training program for doctors and nurses in Malaysia. Dr. Lily has published papers in international journals such as Peritoneal Dialysis International, Kidney International, and Seminar in Nephrology. She has presented scientific abstracts, received invitations as an invited speaker for local and international meetings, and a regular invited reviewer for Peritoneal Dialysis International Journal, Nephrology, Clinical Kidney Journal, and International Journal for Urology and Nephrology.
