Lila E. Nachtigall MD

Dr. Lila E. Nachtigall is currently a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU School of Medicine and presides as director of the Women’s Wellness Center at NYU Medical Center. She has served as a past president of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), as chair of the Joint Task Force on Women’s Issues at NYU’s School of Medicine, as President of the Bellevue Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, and she founded the Foundation for Women’s Wellness, of which she is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Lila Nachtigall is one of the world’s leading reproductive endocrinologists, widely recognized for pioneering medical research on hormone therapy, estrogen, and menopause.  She has authored over 500 articles in medical journals and 3 books, and she has lectured around the world in the field of women’s health.
