Ligia Petrica MD, PhD

Dr. Petrica graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, 'Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timişoara, Romania, where she is currently an associate professor, and senior consultant in internal medicine and nephrology. She completed her postgraduate degree in 'Urinary tract infection associated with renal diseases' and gained a fellowship in nephrology at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, under the tutorship of Prof. Dr. JHM Berden. Her fields of interest include clinical nephrology, diabetic nephropathy, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
