Liewei M. Wang MD, PhD

Liewei Wang, M.D., Ph.D., received her M.D. degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, followed by a Ph.D. degree from Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Wang was trained in a national center for pharmacogenomics research. Since assuming her faculty position at Mayo Clinic, her research has been focused on the use of high-throughput genomic technology, joined with cell-based model systems and clinical translational studies, to study mechanisms of variation in drug response.
