Leyre Adrian Arrieta obtained a degree in General Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra in 2002 and, in 2006, a specialist degree in Family and Community Medicine from the Family and Community Medicine Teaching Unit (UDMFYC) Navarra-Estella area. In 2011 she obtained research proficiency at the UPNA with the work "Studies of patients with Atrial Fibrillation in Primary Care", directed by the specialist in Internal Medicine and professor at the UPNA Victoria Acha Arrieta, and qualified with outstanding.

She has published two articles in relation to his research developed in the thesis in indexed journals, as well as two communications at international conferences, one national and four regional. As a result of her previous research work, she has also published another seven articles in unindexed journals related to continuing medical training, as well as communications in six national and six regional congresses.

After completing her residency in Family Medicine, Leyre Adrián worked in different health centers in Pamplona and currently works as a rural emergency doctor in Noain, although she carried out her work in Lesaka during the thesis.
