Leticia Leone Lauricella graduated in Medicine (2004) and residency in General Surgery (2005-2006) at the State University of Campinas, and a residency in Thoracic Surgery at Hospital das Clínicas da FMUSP (2007-2008). She was a preceptor of the Thoracic Surgery Service at Hospital das Clínicas, FMUSP in 2009. She holds a specialist title in thoracic surgery by the SBCT. She defended a doctorate in the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery program at the USP School of Medicine in 2017. She is currently an Assistant Physician in the Thoracic Surgery Group at Hospital das Clínicas and at InCor at FMUSP. Thoracic surgeon at the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo-ICESP since 2010. Member of the Brazilian Society of Thoracic Surgery (SBCT). She also works as a thoracic surgeon in several hospitals in São Paulo, such as Hospital Sirio Libanês, Hospital 9 de Julho, Santa Paula Hospital and São Luiz Itaim Hospital (Red DOr). Has experience in Medicine, with emphasis on Thoracic Surgery, working mainly on the following topics: lung cancer, minimally invasive surgery, pleural diseases, and bronchoscopy.
