Leszek Czupryniak MD, PhD

Dr. Leszek Czupryniak was a Specialist in internal medicine, a specialist in diabetology, and Head of the Department of Diabetology and Internal Diseases at the Medical University of Warsaw. He graduated from the Medical University of Lodz in 1994, he held foreign training and scientific internships at Oxford, London and Wakefield (Great Britain), Maastricht (the Netherlands), and Miami (USA). In his clinical practice, he focuses on the diagnosis of carbohydrate tolerance disorders and the treatment of type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, diabetes accompanying other diseases, and complications of chronic diabetes, primarily in the circulatory system, nervous system, eye organs, digestive system, and kidneys. Particular attention is devoted to the use of oral antidiabetic agents and insulin.
