Leslie Mcdonald

Leslie McDonald is the Executive Director of Habitat Services, which manages a subsidy program for providers of housing for people with mental health issues in Toronto. Using a commercial contract signed with private sector and not-for-profit housing providers, Habitat staff monitor the services the housing operators deliver to over 900 tenants, and run a support program for tenants. Leslie chairs the Steering Committee for the ALC High-Support Housing Initiative, where community providers and clinicians come together to develop housing solutions for CAMH ALC clients. Prior to joining Habitat, Leslie worked in emergency shelters and women’s services.
