Leslie Hamilton

Dr. Leslie Hamilton is a consultant cardiac surgeon with Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne, and is currently the regional director of Professional Affairs (North East) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and the Assistant Deputy Coroner Durham and Darlington with the Coroners’ Society of England and Wales.

Dr. Hamilton was previously the president of the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland 2006-2008 and served as a member of the executive committee, cardiothoracic Dean, President-Elect, and President of the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland. He was also the Clinical Director of C/T Surgery, an ethics tutor at Newcastle University and Newcastle Foundation, and a faculty member with the Royal College of Surgeons where he taught Legal Aspects of Surgical Practice.
