Lene Baad-Hansen graduated from School of Dentistry, Aarhus University, Denmark in 1996. She earned her PhD degree in Dentistry in 2006 and her dr. odont. in 2016 at Aarhus University. LBH is Associate Professor at the Section of Orofacial Pain and Jaw Function, Department of Dentistry, Aarhus University.

Furthermore, she is affiliated to the Scandinavian Center for Orofacial Neurosciences. Her research is focused on trigeminal somatosensory function, mechanisms of orofacial pain and motor function with 90 contributions to peer-reviewed journals and 8 book chapters.

LBH is presently the secretary/treasurer of the orofacial Pain SIG. LBH is member of the editorial boards for the Journal of Oral Rehabilitation and Acta Odontologica Scandinavica as well as abstract editor for Journal of Oral & Facial Pain and Headache.
