Lejla Aganovic MD

Lejla Aganovic, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist who specializes in abdominal and genitourinary imaging, including prostate imaging, scrotal imaging and renal imaging.

Her research examines a variety of diagnostic radiology topics, such as developing image-based models for detecting renal cell carcinoma and using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to evaluate scrotal lesions. Prior to joining UC San Diego Health in 2007, she was an abdominal radiologist at VA San Diego Healthcare and a clinical instructor in the Department of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Aganovic completed fellowship training in radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She completed residency training in radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. She earned her medical degree from the University of Zagreb in Croatia.
