Leda Dos Reis Castilho PhD

Professor Leda dos Reis Castilho holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the School of Chemistry of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1995), a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from COPPE / UFRJ (1997) and a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from Technische Universitaet Braunschweig (2001). She is currently a lecturer at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a degree in Chemistry Engineering Program at COPPE, and coordinator of the Cell Culture Engineering Laboratory. He has experience in Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Biochemical Processes, working mainly in the areas of animal cell culture, biopharmaceuticals and vaccines, as well as in solid state fermentation and enzymes.
