Leanne K. Diakov JD

Since 2014, Mrs. Diakov has served as the general counsel for the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure. Before then, she served as the Board's assistant general counsel for five years handling the majority of the Board's disciplinary proceedings.

Prior to representing the Board, Leanne served as a staff attorney for the Department of Workers' Claims. She has experience in a private practice mainly representing individuals in medical malpractice and personal injury actions. She also managed corporate, and international education programs before earning her law degree.

Mrs. Diakov earned a BA from Furman University, an MA from the University of Kentucky Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce, and a JD from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
