Dr. Sun, CEO & President of AbMax Biotechnology, Inc., Beijing’s Talent Oversea Returnee, Adjunct Prof. of Beijing Normal University. Executive member of ABO. Dr. Sun has more than 25 yrs experience in antibody-based cell signaling research and drug development. His team has generated monoclonal antibodies against over 1000 different targets, many of them have been published in well-known journals. His team has been recognized by its collaborators and clients as the best monoclonal antibody development company. Dr. Sun was President & Co-founder of A&G Pharmaceutical, which has one anti-cancer mAb in pre-clinic study and one cancer diagnostic kit under FDA review. He was Director of R& D at Upstate Biotechnology Inc., a market leader in the biotechnology research reagent s sector for cancer biology. His team introduced 200+ new antibodies and enzymes every year. Dr. Sun spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. David Barnes’s lab at Oregon State University. Dr. Sun received his PhD in biochemistry/cell biology from Tsinghua University (Beijing). Dr.Sun is working on several monoclonal antibody-based drugs including anti-EGFR-DM1, anti-HER2-DM1, modified Humira and Rituxian, etc.
