Layla A. Asamarai PsyD, LP

Dr Asamarai is a bilingual Arabic/English speaking licensed psychologist (MN Lic 4892). She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota School of Professional Psychology (MSPP) in 2006. She has experience serving clients in a multitude of settings and from diverse backgrounds. She has worked with survivors of torture, under-served populations. inner-city communities, minority communities, and worked in Dubai for nearly 9 years as Head of Psychology in a hospital and in private practice. In addition to direct client care, she has experience in program development, leadership, and has participated in a number of honorary counsels. She provides supervision and consultation for emerging professionals and provides training and consultation in EMDR.
