Dr. Lawrence Simon, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in biochemistry. He then completed both medical school and a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After residency.

He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California. During his fellowship, Dr. Simon served as a clinical fellow and instructor at the University of California-San Diego and received numerous research awards from the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO) and the Society for Ear, Nose, and Throat Advances in Children (SENTAC). Upon finishing fellowship, Dr. Simon joined the faculty of the LSU Health Sciences Center at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans in 2010, where he served as Co-Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology from July 2012 until his departure into private practice in 2013
