Lawrence Klein BS, PhD

Dr. Lawrence Klein combines significant experience in biotech corporate strategy and business development with an advanced technical background. In his previous role as VP of Strategy & Corporate Development at CRISPR, Lawrence led the formation of a number of strategic collaborations, and was a key contributor in developing the company’s initial corporate strategy. Before joining CRISPR, Lawrence was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company where he was a leader in the biotech practice and served a number of biotechnology companies on a wide range of topics from strategy to operations.
Lawrence received his Ph.D. from Stanford University where he conducted research in the field of T-cell immunology that led to several publications in leading scientific journals. Prior to Stanford he obtained a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
