Lawrence J. Thomas BA, PhD, DABT

Dr. Thomas is responsible for the oversight of preclinical pharmacology and toxicology studies, conducted both internally and externally, at Celldex Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing a variety of biopharmaceuticals. Prior to this position with Celldex, Dr. Thomas held positions with AVANT Immunotherapeutics and T Cell Sciences in preclinical research and development. Dr. Thomas is a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, a Fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences and is an author on numerous publications and inventor on several patents.

Dr. Thomas holds a B.A. from Brandeis University, a Ph.D. from The University of Massachusetts Medical School and did his postdoctoral work at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
