Lawrence Bryant PhD, MPH, BSW, RRT

Lawrence Bryant was a senior faculty member in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Capella University. Dr. Bryant also has over 40 years of experience as a clinical respiratory therapist and currently works part-time at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He worked with the Georgia Department of Public Health/Department of Behavioral Health managing an opioid and prescription drug overdose prevention project, where he established a statewide strategic plan and facilitated the collaboration of multiple stakeholders including federal and state agencies, community members, community-based organizations, and individuals. A published writer, experienced presenter, and academic educator, Lawrence is dedicated to educating and supporting others with regard to health disparities, professional development, and outcomes-oriented client care.
