Laurie R. Margolies MD, FSBI, FACR

Dr. Laurie Margolies is a professor of radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She serves as the system chief of breast imaging for the Mount Sinai Health System. She is involved in patient care including mobile mammography, research, and teaching. Her vast research interests include breast arterial calcification and its association with heart disease, incidental detection of breast cancer on chest CT, the role of massage therapy in the breast imaging suite, and barriers to mammographic screening and patient perceptions of breast density.
