Laurent Rebier

Laurent has 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His background includes both chemical engineering and business administration. He started his career in the USA, where he managed a number of projects to set up commercial manufacturing facilities.

Laurent then moved back to Europe in order to lead the entire engineering team of Novasep. Through this role, he got exposure to nearly all pharma and biopharma companies in developed and mature markets and accompanied a large number of them in developing and implementing purification processes.

After this, Laurent moved to marketing and sales functions. He led the sales organization of Novasep in Asia and enjoyed living in China for 5 years, where he has witnessed and participated in the development of biosimilars. Laurent has joined in 2013 the biosimilars unit of Merck Serono, one of the leading biotech companies. As a Director of Business Development, he is responsible for partnering activities
