Lauren Fishbein MD, PhD, MTR

Lauren Fishbein, MD, PhD, MTR is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes with a secondary appointment in the Division of Biomedical Informatics and Personalized Medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Vassar College and earned her MD, PhD degree from the University of Florida with a PhD in Molecular Genetics.

She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and her Endocrinology Fellowship and Master’s in Translational Research at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests focus on neuroendocrine tumor genetics in order to understand tumorigenesis, identify biomarkers for clinically aggressive disease and identify novel targets for therapeutic intervention.
