Lauren Carey

Lauren Carey has been General Manager of Novartis Oncology Australia and New Zealand since February 2017 and has been in the health and pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years, working in United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Switzerland.

Lauren previously held the position of Ophthalmology Business Franchise Head in United Kingdom. Before that, she was the Global Brand Director in Switzerland, responsible for the management and development of the global ophthalmology marketing strategy.

She joined Novartis in 2006 and has held a number of leadership roles in sales and marketing in United Kingdom before moving to Canada in 2009 as the Associate Sales Director then to Australia in 2010 as the Neuroscience Business Franchise Head, successfully launching the first oral product in Multiple Sclerosis and then Specialty Care Head, responsible for the Novartis, Ophthalmology, Transplantation and Neuroscience Businesses.
