Laureano Perez MD, PhD, FRDS

Dr. Laureano Fernandez-Cruz Perez is an Emeritus Professor of Surgery (Faculty of Medicine) at the University of Barcelona. With his specialized training in Bilio-Pancreatic and Endocrine Surgery, he is a pioneer in performing the first pancreas transplant in Spain. He is an honorary member of eleven national and international scientific societies and the author of three books and more than 250 scientific articles. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia.
